Twist your wrist while you hit the ball.
I got pro in Tennis and Bowling only recently. For weeks there was a more interesting competition between classicaljunkie
and me in racking up medals in Wii Play (which I recommend, if viewed as a wiimote with a discful of new minigames packed in). That's cooled off some but we still like to play the Tanks game sometimes. Taaaaaanks

OK, I think I'm definitely going to pick up Wii Play, since I've now heard from a couple of sources that it's decent. I already have a second controller, but I do hope to some day lure more than one person at a time over to my house to play.
I assumed it was twisting the wrist, but when I've tried doing it, it doesn't seem to do anything. Maybe I should make a more concerted effort to do it. Do you think spin is worth using?

I honestly haven't been able to consistently do anything in Tennis. :)
The weird thing about Wii Play (and the reason I suspect it gets low marks from review sites) is the fact that it seems to think it's the whole system's pack-in game, coming at you with the attitude that it will now gently teach you how to use the remote. But once you've unlocked all the games, it's a nice little collection. And, hey, you get another remote. (No nunchuk, though.)
