Lo! Rue unequal jive.
Love a June liqueur.

For a moment, I thought that was a haiku. I wonder how hard it would be to write a haiku where every line is an anagram of another?

I wonder if any of the puzzle magazines are hiring editors?

Hmm, it makes 5-6-5, so finding a 5-7-5 one probably wouldn't be hard. Of course, making everything come together as a reasonable haiku would be the difficult part. And for extra points, make the title of the haiku an anagram of the lines, as well.

I'd never thought about looking for work with a puzzle magazine. I probably don't have whatever experience or education that's required, though. Worth a look, though. I should probably just start putting really interesting things up on my web site, make some sort of web name for myself, and then use that recognition to get a job.

I heartily endorse this behavior you describe; insofar as I have a secret to my success, there you have it. I don't think that the "web name" part is as important as having a portfolio showing a creative mind at work (and play).

Now that's a sentence you wouldn't want to hear in certain contexts . . .

Thank you

The phrase "Queue LiveJournal" contains all sorts of neat words. Although I wasn't able to make decent sentences with them, I did locate the following: allure, quiver, jailor, Louvre, and, to my vast delight, jonquil.

Thanks for helping me kill a bit of my morning with the wonder of wordplay.

(And, er, hello, by the way. Found your journal by a Boggle interest search. Hope you don't mind.)

I have to admit that I cheated and used the Internet Anagram Server. Actually, what I did was use it to generate a word list, then used it to look for anagrams that included words I thought were neat or promising.

Keep watching my journal, as I am known to do a bit of wordplay. Actually, I'll probably be posting some stuff related to the current Weekend Edition Sunday Puzzle tomorrow when I should be working. Acronym movie reviews!

(Oh, and hello to you, too. Could it be, another LJ Boston Boggler? Watch my journal for the next Boggle tournament announcement.)

I forgot that your first comment in my journal was this early. I at first tried to go look at all my entries, and then I realized that I could just sort my lj_notify emails, since I've kept all of them.

Feeling a bit nostalgic (in a good way). Thanks for commenting in my journal. I'm entirely glad that you did.
