i have 1 full cousin. i have some half-cousins, but i don't know them very well. they are the children of my mother's half-siblings, who she doesn't know very well.

are you counting first cousins twice removed, thrice removed, etc? because if so, i have some of those, too. well, at least half first cousins twice removed and thrice removed.

i think it would be cool to have double cousins.

my husband has like, a million cousins. he comes from a very large family.

I've never been clear on the whole "removed" thing. What exactly are removed cousins? Are they my parents' cousins? Or my cousins' children? Or what?

My maternal grandfather's brother married my maternal grandmother's sister, so my mom and her first cousins are double cousins (unless you have another deifnition).

One of my bosses has something like 20 aunts and uncles (siblings of his parents, not including spouses), so he has quite a few cousins.

"removed" means "generation after you" example: your cousin's children (which would be 1 generation after you) would be your first cousins, once removed. your cousin's grandchildren would be your first cousins, twice removed. etc.

that's so cool your mom has double cousins! :D

some day i want to try to figure out who my 2nd and 3rd cousins are. 2nd cousins would be the children of the siblings of your grandparents. 3rd cousins would be the children of the siblings of your great-grandparents.

My maternal grandfather's brother married my maternal grandmother's sister

Have you mentioned this before/ My paternal grandfather's brother and his other brother married my paternal (alas, not maternal--that would have been interesting) grandmother's sister and her other sister, which created a whole generation of cousins who look very much like brothers.
