Got done today the big projects that were hanging over my head. Two things out to a printer, one set of proof returned to another printer, and a set of files unarchived and put on our site for download by authors doing a second edition.
Next week, I have to get the cover out for one of the books that I sent to the printer, but that is waiting on final cover copy from marketing, and all I have to do once that comes in is send the copy and the cover templates to the designer, and then send the completed cover to the printer when it comes back from the designer. And that's pretty much it as far as production stuff goes, except for a couple sets of proof expected some time early next week. That means, for the beginning of the week, at least, I can focus on editorial tasks and on getting organized. I've got a lot of little things to take care of, and it will be a big weight off my mind to get them taken care of.
Going to see a place tonight, and then I've got nothing I have to do for the rest of the weekend. Netflix, computer game, and some cooking are currently on the agenda, but it's a nice feeling that there's nothing that I must do, that I could just lie in bed all weekend if I wanted to.
