Howl's
For some reason, I was under the impression that Patrick Stewart was in the English cast for Howl's Moving Castle, which is the only reason I wanted to see the dubbed version. Turns out he wasn't. A quick check reveals that he's in Chicken Little, coming out later this year, so I must have gotten that mixed up.

I still enjoyed Howl's. Judging by magid's reaction, I guess it's a good thing I didn't remember the book. I'll have to reread that soon.

heh, yeah, i had to see it a second time to give it anything like a fair amount of concentration in its own right because the first time i was so distracted by making comparisons despite having decided beforehand that i wouldn't. i still want to see a subtitled version for a true evaluation, but the second time with the dubbed was at least better.

the book is most certainly worth the reread. :)

I, too, had decided not to make comparisons, but couldn't help myself; the changes were far more wide-ranging than I'd imagined.

Possible source of your confusion

Patrick Stewart is the voice of Yupa in the dub of Nausicaa. (I've got the DVD but haven't watched the dub.)
