Starting to feel the water rising
With just a quick count, there are at least 8 different things I need to take care of after this high-priority job I have to take care of today (and which will likely take most of today). I need to figure out some sort of system for keeping track of everything.

It almost seems worth it to come in this weekend just so I can clear some things off my desk.

Almost.

It doesn't look like it's had any enhancements in the last few years, so don't know if it's regarded as a supported feature.

Well, this book that's been a big problem should have been out a week ago at least. Its lingering presence is making things a lot more busy. Also, there are a number of things (other than the 6 books) that we're trying to get done before SIGGRAPH, so we're still in a pretty busy period.

The book _Getting Things Done_ comes highly recommended. I have it, but in the true spirit of procrastination, have neither finished it nor attempted to implement any of the trivially easy ideas it describes.

Sure. It'll help me put off finishing it and using its infinite wisdom. :)
