Marjane Satrapi at Brookline Booksmith
Anyone interested in joining me? Possibly felafel or sushi for dinner before.

Time: Friday, September 10, 2004 7:00 PM
Location: The Brookline Booksmith Writers and Readers Room
Title of Event: MARJANE SANTRAPI - Persepolis 2: The Story of a Return

If there were any doubt that graphic novels could walk the walk as serious
literature, Marjane Satrapi's terrific comic book memoir Persepolis put it
decisively to rest. Now Satrapi continues her life's story, detailing her
flee from Iran to Vienna, Austria, and her eventual return. Disbelievers
of the power of graphic novels: attend this event and be converted!
