Writing and copyediting for K-6 textbooks. It sounds like you don't necessarily need textbook experience. Sounds like it's all freelance. I haven't really checked it out, so I'm not sure how legit it is.
Isn't it a bit odd that they want 7 day a week access to you?

The Beatles demanded 8 days a week. This seems generous, no?

Yeah, I guess that does seem a bit odd. It is just that you're supposed to check your email once a day on the weekends, but, yeah, it does seem a little odd.
I just looked at it a little more. It describes itself as a "network" of freelancers. Clients find an editor they want and request that editor, and the editor charges them whatever they want to. However, I can't seem to find on the Web site where it says how the network makes its money. It would seem to me that they get a cut of what the editors charge, which seems slightly sketchy to me.
