I love the leader
So I went to this thing last night with a friend:

http://skepdic.com/landmark.html (You can find their actual page easily enough, if you want.)

It was interesting. I am actually considering doing it. I went completely skeptical, more as a favor to my friend and as a new experience. It seems to fit with some things that I've known I needed to do for a long time and just never seem to get around to doing. Paying money for it might be a good way to get me to do it. And, while it doesn't seem to be for everyone, it certainly does seem that some people get a lot of benefit from it. Is it stuff I could do on my own? Probably. Is it stuff I would do on my own? Probably not.

Simsons quote, right?

I did the Landmark Forum when I was 19 at my dad's encouragement, and also one of their advanced courses a few years later. On the whole I do recommend them, with caveats. Recommend you pull my chatty string about them before signing up.

Yes, it's a quote from the "Movementarian" episode.

I'll definitely talk to you about that. I'll be around the Davis Square area this afternoon and evening. Stop by the Diesel if you're around before 5 or 6.

You went to one of those free intro sessions? Can you summarize, in more concrete terms, how it was and what you think you might get out of actually doing it? I read the web page you pointed at and have to admit to still being mightily confused. :)

Sure. If you don't see anything soon, remind me.
