Jeans
I think most of my jeans are now too stained or too holey to wear to work. I'm considering getting some more. Any opinions where the best place would be? I was thinking either Goodwill or Garment District. Which one would be better? I want to spend as little money as possible. I also want to only go to one store, so I'd like to have a high probability of finding something (32x30, the last time I bought jeans, I think. Might be 31x30 or 30x30 now; i just don't know).

I tend to like Sears store brand, Canyon River Blues. Usually around $20-25 a pair. Garment District doesn't generally a really huge men's selection. I haven't tried Goodwill before.

You're more likely to find better condition jeans at Garment District, but more volume (perhaps - i don't look at the men's section) at Goodwill in Davis. Prices are not wildly different.
