Drilled and filled
I guess they don't like to numb both sides at once, so I'm coming back in July to get the cavity on the other side done.

No big deal. I was expecting a lot more. I actually kind of liked the drilling. We'll see if my tooth starts to ache as the Novocain starts to wear off.

I had tentative plans for the late morning/early afternoon, but those fell through. So I think I'll finally finish up Season 5 of Stargate (I only have two episodes left).

I didn't eat before my appointment, and now I'm hungry. I was warned to chew on the left side, since I might not feel myself chewing into my cheek on the right side. But tht's just for another half an hour or so. I think I can wait until then.

They're leaving a diagnosed cavity untreated for two months? That seems odd. You really wouldn't want the necessary treatment to evolve into a root canal.

I asked if that was too long to wait, and he said it was fine, that it wouldn't have time to degrade too much. I guess they're fairly shallow cavities. I don't really know anything about it, though, never having to deal with this until now.
