Quote of the day
http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/americas/05/11/mexico.ufos.ap/index.html

Apparently, the Mexican Air Force has some footage of some unidentified flying objects. A quote from a Mexican ufologist:
"Hundreds of videos (of UFOs) exist, but none had the backing of the armed forces of any country. ... The armed forces don't perpetuate frauds."

Whew! That's a load off of my mind. Here I was thinking that the military was just another arm of the obviously deceptive government. Well, that clears that right up.

Yeah, Mexico has all the good stuff. Mexican food. Incorruptible political officials. A world class system of public works. I also have come to understand that the streets are paved with gold*. That's it - I'm moving to Tijuana.

*Cuervo Gold, that is. They are some slippery streets. I understand that some streets are actually made out of Margarita mix. Given this, you just have to find the right intersection of streets, have a glass, and a shaker of salt, and you are all set.
