I didn't much care for the second part, but I did enjoy the first part.

Being a math editor, though, I noticed that Problem 7 did not give you enough information to solve it. Of course, probably not many people besides math editors (and not all of those, I'm sure) would have noticed.

There's the question of how you construct the frame (and how wide the 200 cm length of wood is, depending on how you construct it).

For example, if the piece of wood were 1 cm wide, you could construct a 6 by 4 frame from 4 pieces of 4 cm wood by nesting them. I dunno if this picture will help:

So, that would be just 16 cm of wood for each frame, so you could make 12 frames, with some wood left over.
