They'd be easy enough to make. Just take a word and remove strokes to get other letters. You could even make up a chart of which letters can be transformed, and try to make up something from those letters.

There seems to be a real variety in the difficulty of their challenges. They have the archives on the site, and there are some good ones in there. I found last week's fun and non-trivial. I think I took something like 15 minutes or more out of my work day to do it last week.
