Safari find of the day
I already knew that control-clicking a link would bring up a menu that allows you to open the link in a new tab, among other things.

I just discovered that command(apple)-clicking a link will automatically bring it up in a new tab, no menu required.

Speaking of tabbed browsing in Safari, I like how you can close a tab without having to switch to it first, which is not something you can do in Netscape.

I close tabs in Netscape without switching to them. First I right-click on the tab, then select the "Close tab" option. Maybe your version is different?

OK, guess I hadn't thought of doing that. Still, Safari has little X's for close the tabs with a single click, rather than having to bring up a menu (And on a Mac, the mouse (usually) has only one button, so it would have to be a control-click to bring up the menu).
