Way too much going on on my friends page, especially since I added boingboing_net. I'll post this link, which is really just too neat. It puts up Cory Doctorow's new novel Eastern Standard Tribe one word at a time, with pauses for commas and periods. It also appears to give you more itme for longer words. You can adjust the speed, and I found that I could still read it pretty well at the fourth level. I wonder if I could train myself to be able to process it at a higher speed. I'm curious to know what level other people can read it at.

The West Wing is excellent! I watched five episodes last night, more than I had originally intended to. I even calcualted how long it would take me to watch the entire rest of the season in one sitting, but I decided to be (relatively) good. I was able to care about the characters very quickly, and the writing really is excellent.

prog, would a mini-review of the first five episodes of The West Wing be appropriate for the media log? I'm not really sure where the line is, or if there even is a line. Would it be appropriate to post about an episode of The Simpsons, for example?

Stupid weather. Regardless, I'm still planning on going to the birthday party tonight at Jake Ivory's. If it's still raining after that, I might just head home. Blargh.
