Watched The Cutting Edge with my mom. Predictable but enjoyable (yes, I'm easy). We finished the movie around 6, and I felt ready for bed.
Read some more stories today, and I just finished reading another one now. Lots of stuff to read, it being the beginning of the month and year. Oh, speaking of stuff to read, I picked up a copy of Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet at Pandemonium. I'd been seeing its name in the bios of the authors I've been reading in various webzines. It was only five bucks, so I figured it's worth checking out. Haven't read it yet. I'll probably start tomorrow, unless I start another of my weekend acquisitions: a BattleTech trilogy. I was introduced to BattleTech when we were in Texas for hrafn's intelligence training. One of the people I played with had some of the novels and let me borrow them. I really liked the battle scenes and the politics. I don't know if I read anyone other than Michael Stackpole, but his name is the only one that stands out. I had been thinking about rereading some of them, so when I saw a trilogy in one book, I decided to buy it, even though it's not by Michael Stackpole. Talking about it now makes me want to read it, so I might.
After I watch King of the Hill and The Simpsons, that is. I don't watch much television any more, so it's been a while since I've watched new shows.
