Leonids
No Leonids for me last night. I took a little nap right when I got home. Was really tired, and it was a good nap. Looked outside around 10 or so and saw that some clouds had moved in. I figured it wans't worth waking/staying up at/until 2:30 with the good chance that it would be cloudy. Plus it's fairly bright around me, plus it's not a peak year, etc. I ended up waking up around 3:30 to go to the bathroom, and I saw clouds through the window. So I'm pleased with my decision.

I got told that I should become a priest last night. I'm not sure if it was meant as a compliment or an insult, but I chose to take it as a compliment.

I got the cardboard Icehouse pyramids last night. Two of the sets were already assembled and painted. I assembled one last night, and I'll assemble the fourth one sometime before people come over on Friday. One side is white and one side is brown, so you can get different "colors" just folding them different ways. Pretty cool.

I actually made dinner last night, although I was too lazy to make a salad. The chicken was good, though, and I have leftovers with me for lunch. Lemon juice, lime juice, soy sauce, and Thai red curry paste.

Meeting at 10 today. We're supposed to review the first batch of intermediary statements by Friday, but the meeting today is to talk about "general issues" with the list of statements. I haven't looked at the list yet, so I won't have any comments to make. There are at least two distinct camps in these meetings, and it's usually pretty contentious, which isn't all that fun. We're trying to use this list for every math thing company-wide, but the different divisions just have such different uses for the list. I have a feeling we're going to end up with something that everyone can work with but noone is happy with. I wish I didn't have to stay on this board.

Really, I must say that I'm surprised that it's you, of all people, who made this comment. Really, really surprised.

I have nothing but the utmost respect for the Catholic Church and its clergy. I'm clutching my rosary as we speak.

Yeah, but really, that's the kind of thing you learn by staying in more.

Oh, and in this case, there is no need for a euphemism; I mean, think about it - a string of beads? That's too easy. Then again, maybe I've seen too much porn.... which I guess just loops this whole response back up to my first line.

See my halo?

I am merely fluttering with curiosity, my dear sir.
