Ack! How do I drink stuff with lipstick on?
The lipstick wasn't quite as fun to put on as the nail polish was. And now I have to worry about licking my lips and drinking and stuff. I don't think I will be wearing lipstick quite as often in the future as I will probably be wearing nail polish. Nail polish is neato! The eyeliner wasn't bad to put on, and it has a kind of neat effect. I ended up grabbing my bike chain bracelet, too, even though it's a bit rusty.
Didn't see very many people in costume on the way to work, but there are a decent number of people in my office in costume, which is neat.
And there are doughnuts. Erg, how am I going to eat anything without smearing my lipstick?

If you got the Manic Panic brand, my experience is that it doesn't come off on cups and stuff too badly. If you also kind of purse your lips open, and think about how they are/aren't going to touch your food, you should do ok. *grin*

*checks brand* It's Manic Panic. But it came off a bit on my plastic mug here at work. Hmm, guess I'll just have to be careful. Good thing I brought it with me so I could touch things up when it gets all smeared and such.

I think if you kind of let your lower lip drop open, then set the edge of the cup or bottle on the inner surface of the lip, you'll be able to drink without too much smearing.
Doughnuts, I don't know. But I keep envisioning you with your black lipstick all covered in powdered sugar....

Luckily, they're Halloween doughnuts (orange and black sprinkles).
Powdered sugar would be very funny :-)

Aren't chicks, like, born knowing that stuff?

Hatching didn't give me insights into lipstick maintenance...

On the other hand, it did show you how to wield an egg tooth. I understand that all the rave chicks are sporting egg tooths nowadays. Its the new pacifier.

I knew I shouldn't've put that in the recycling!
There was going to be a good use for it soon, and I didn't wait.
Know where I can get a new one?

just keep reapplying
and, no, I don't know if that's the best solution, because like, i wasn't born knowing that stuff...

Re: just keep reapplying
I always end up reapplying, when I bother with lipstick.
I think my mom's theory is that wearing two coats keeps it from needing touchups as frequently, but I haven't paid enough attention to verify.

Re: just keep reapplying
the real trick actually (and I found this out by taking a class) is to use the lipliner, and to use it on the entire lip. The lipliner primarily keeps lipstick from oozing on the edges, but it holds the base color better, albiet has a lack of sheen. Then, for sheen, you can a lipstick, or just lip gloss.
Most lips probably won't hold two coats of lipstick anyway, it just means there's more to wipe off.
Of course, I mixed up lipsticks after application today. So I have this pinky free sample one instead of the burgundy color that goes with the devil hair.

What are you dressed up as to need lipstick?
If this was answered a few days back...well this is at the top of my list so I am asking...

Goth. Lipstick, eye liner, nail polish. I bought a spiked leather collar, too. I think this is the most effort I've ever put into a Halloween costume.

How do I drink stuff with lipstick on?
Carefully. Alternatively, if you're lazy like me, you either drink through a straw or just reapply after you're done.
how am I going to eat anything without smearing my lipstick?
If you figure it out, let me know; I've never managed that one.
The secret is to wear chapstick on the bottom layer and then apply the lipstick. It lasts a lot longer that way. But, the companies want you to reapply...it sells them more tubes of lipstick.
