It had stopped raining by the time I got up yesterday morning. It was delicious outside when I left for work. There's just something about the time just after a rain, and the wind was blowing, and it was a bit warm. It was pretty close to perfect. It was overcast, so I wasn't paying much attention to the clouds as I walked to the bus stop. So I was standing at the bus stop, facing east. I think I was reading. Suddenly I saw the sun start to come out. The sun? So I look up, and it is just peaking out behind the overcast clouds. And then in the next instant I notice the whole sky. To my left, it's completely overcast. To the right, blue skies, with a few puffy clouds. And the sun shining in the middle, really dazzling just coming out from the clouds. What a magnificent sight. I thought about whipping my camera out, but I couldn't have captured the beauty of the moment adequately enough without a panoramic camera, so I contented myself with experiencing the moment, and I felt really . . . I don't know . . . some good feeling, and I felt a lot of it.
