The orchard we went to yesterday is also a winery, which is the main reason my sister likes to go there. So, besides a peck of apples (hmm, no applesauce until I get the stove fixed), I came home with a bottle of strawberry-rhubarb wine. It's listed as a semi-sweet red, and it supposedly goes well with sweet and spicy dishes. So I thought I'd get it and save it for a particular sweet and spicy dish. If that meal ends up not happening, then I guess I'll just give the bottle away.
