But I thought I'd post it anyway. I'm not sure about exact definitions, and I think I used different definitions for different people on this thing. But whatever.

What I'm finding interesting with this meme is how many secret crushes there are out there in the LJ community. For instance, looking at your number of friends, and eliminating the communities, it seems like you have about three secret crushes going on right now. I wouldn't have guessed that many at all. Being a stats hog, as I am, all this is quite entertaining to me.

Oh, you've been doing that, too? It's quite fun when you're up with insomnia at 2AM. I really appreciate all my friends being so kind as to post a meme that lends itself so well to obsessive analysis with a calculator.
I'm still surprised that my secret crushes outweigh my public crushes, 'cause I didn't really think I had many secret crushes. Oh well. USENET affects my love life, yet again.

Yes, I had the "Let's see... that friend is actually a community, and that one, so take those out, that leaves 43 actual friends, ok, so multiply 43 times 0.071..." moments with myself a number of times. Its a good time filler when you are on hold with a vendor (and sometimes even when they are actually speaking).

Also, a most excellent way to procrastinate when packing up an apartment.
The problem is that your only choices are "secret crush" or "public crush". There are loads of people whom I think "wow, s/he's hot and cool", but don't bother saying so, but it's not about trying to keep it secret or anything. I listed them as secret crushes, because they weren't public, even though "secret" (and maybe "crush") don't actually apply. "Unrevealed" might be better.
