Day 3
I woke up a bunch during the night, so I didn't sleep very well. Several of the times I woke up I heard it raining pretty heavily, so I was preparing not to go running if the rain hadn't stopped by the time I got up. Luckily, it wasn't raining when I dragged myself out of bed at 5:23, so I did another five laps. I used keys on my keyring to keep track of the laps I ran, which made me feel good for thinking of something so practical. And then I thought that I could start referring to laps as "key", thinking about all of the ways I could use it. "I hadn't even gotten my first key yet when . . ." "I'm going to try adding a key a week."

You should try running in the rsin; when its warm, it can be a lot of fun.

It sounds like fun. How does it treat your shoes?

I like gardening in the rain. Or, well, I do when I *have* a garden, rather than a tiny plot of clay.

It will eventually ruin them of course, but running shoes don't have such a long lifetime anyway. But it won't ruin them right off.
