Woke up about quarter to 5. My neck was hurting me a lot from sleeping on it wrong. Got up about 5:10. Ran from 5:16 to 5:31, down to the park near me and around the track (not sure how far it is around the track) five times, working up a nice sweat. Really, I'm out of shape. I don't think the track is quite a quarter of a mile, so I might have done a mile, maybe a tad more. Ugh. Not that I need to be doing a killer pace first thing in the morning, but I really should be able to run more than a mile without getting as tired as I got.
I could so easily have gone straight back to bed after my shower. But it felt good to get going and get in to work by 7:30 (it would have been earlier except for bus stuff). I think I'm going to try to get in to work by 7:00 tomorrow. We'll see how it goes.
Does someone want to take a picture of me running sometime? It doesn't have to be at 5:30 in the morning; it can be a posed shot. I'd just like to have a running userpic.
