Cool
It looks like parking and such will be fairly easy for my New York trip. I can park in the long-term lot. It's only $3 for the first 12 hours, and I'm not going to be there longer than 12 hours. From there, there's a free bus to the subway, which I can take into Manhattan. Wander around Manhattan. Take the subway back. Bus from long-term parking to the airport to collect my cargo. Bus back, leave. And the airport looks pretty easy to get to, as well. Just take 95 south to 678. Bada-bing.

Got home after 9 last night from helping work on surrealestate's Thing. It was much fun, and it's going to be pretty cool. Stayed up much too late playing Warlords 2. Took a bath, read a bit, then turned out the light. Turned over and looked at the clock. 12:34. I smiled (yes, I actually smiled) for a few seconds before turning over and going to sleep.

I just realized the flaw in my plan for Hip-Whip Lime Bavarian. The recipe has you add extra sugar to the jello, and then, later, you add in whipping cream that has been whipped but with nothing added. I guess I'll just omit the extra sugar and add in the Hip-Whip and see how it goes. And I'm not worried about it not being edible because, really, it would be pretty hard to make that inedible.

I soaked it in the bathrrom sink overnight, and most of the stuff seems to have come out. We'll see how it fares in the washing machine.

Glad you found the flaw *before* making dessert, although of course I would never have said it was too sweet :-) [1]

[1] I'm sure queue will recognize the sarcasm here, but for others who know my tastes less well let me just say that it's rather usual for me to think that a dessert would be improved by being less sweet and to state that opinion out loud.
