Got home to two nice surprises last night. My first issue of Cook's Illustrated was in the mail. I started readig it on the bus this morning, and I'm really enjoying it. Also, the letter from Washington Mutual was in my email. It's printed out and sitting in the bag, waiting to be signed and notarized this evening. I called the lawyer to see about schedulig the closing. I was told to call my contact at Washington Mutual and see if there was anything else they needed me to do. So, I called and left a message. I imagine that the closing will happen early next week. Let's hope everything happens in time for me to not have to make a July payment.
I have to write a couple of questions for work, so I'm being really slow about it, since I really hate writing questions. After writing this entry, I'm just going to write them and get it over with. I've made my hatred of question-writing known around here, and people are actually paying attention to it. I was looking for something to do in a lull yesterday, and P said "I could have you do this thing. Oh, but you don't like writing questions. I'll give that to someone else." Really nice, actually.
