Nothing's going up my ass for another 23 years
Everything was fine with my doctor visit. I can return to "routine screening", which means a colonoscopy at age 50. They managed to con me into a physical, so I have a full physical scheduled for August 1st.

Also in the good news department, I woke up from a nap today and had a message on my machine from a lawyer. They're ready to close next week. I left a message, so I hope to hear back from them tomorrow and have the closing scheduled.

Besides good news, today has also been a productive day. Laundry, dishes, Krayzen (although I didn't finish), 2-hour nap, and grocery shopping. I think I might make strawberry-rhubarb dumplings for myself tomorrow. Yum.

You should post the recipe (or at least the main ingrediants and relative quantities) for your Strawberry-Rhubarb dumplings... They were delicious when you made them for me (wow, back when hrafn was still in the AF and all...that was a *long* time ago, wasn't it?) But, um, anyway, recipe?

I don't follow a recipe, except for the dumplings. For the fruit, cut up some rhubarb, cook it in a pot in a little bit of water until it's a little soft. Then add some strawberries and some sugar. I guess maybe 3 stalks of rhubarb to a pint of strawberries? Or whatever combo seems good. And you don't need much sugar, depending on how tart you want it. You can always add more sugar after it's cooked if you want, so start by adding just a little (maybe 1/4 cup or so?). When it's cooked and boiling (shouldn't take too long), put the dumplings on top. I don't have my dumpling recipe at work, but it shouldn't be too hard to find a basic dumpling recipe on the Web. If you want, send me an email this evening and I can give you the dummpling recipe I use.
