Happy Birthday - Queue — LiveJournal
I got a $5 Starbucks card from work for my birthday. It's apparently refillable and such. Anyone want it?

I would take it, but I've already got one. Well, actually, its not so much a "card" as it is a "chip in my brain" which periodically reminds me how great tasting and refreshing Starbucks coffee is, and how I should be heading there right now... excuse me. I must away.

I would have thought he'd want it, but see his above comment.
Are they a couple weeks early, or is the birthdate in your LJ profile wrong? Anyway, happy birthday, or happy seventeen-days-until-your-birthday!

The birthdate in my profile is correct. Maybe it's a mislabeled unbirthday gift.
(Actually, I think they batch process them. The mail guy had a handful that he was delivering.)
Yeah, they probably just do all the ones for the month sometime during the beginning of the month.
do you not drink coffee? Or are you offering the empty-but-refillable card? If no one else wants it, I'll take it!! Starbucks has this lattee with caramel syrup and whipped cream thing that I absolutely adore... *drooldrool*

I don't drink coffee. It's still got the $5 on it.
Since you're the first person to express interest, it's yours. That is, if you can pick it up. Email me to work out details.
I can pick it up. And this is good, because it means I get to see you (and yes, I know it's mostly my fault that I don't see you - I'm lame. I keep meaning to surprise show up at one of your story readings, and I still mean to, and I will even, sometime. :) Except, now you'll be less surprised cuz I've told you) 8^) Right, email.

Starbucks does have some non-coffee products, too.

I'm sure most of their baked goods have dairy in them. And I really don't have any need to go to Starbucks just to get a bottle of juice or a cup of tea.

You get BIRTHDAY PRESENTS from your WORK??!!?!?!?!?
