Just had a sandwich with peanut butter and the recent batch of mango-pepper jam. It was really good, and I didn't even mind the non-sweetness of the jam because the peanut butter was adequately sweet.
I think I'm going to really like this calcium pectin stuff, since I'll bve able to add very little (or no) sugar to jams and still have them be decent.
I was contemplating some strawberries when I was in Stop & Shop yesterday, but I knew there was a high probability of them rotting before I managed to get to them. I'll have to wait until I know I'll have time to make jam. Strawberry and kiwi might be nice.
