So, the pie tastes good. I let it cool for a bit, and then I had a piece while I watched The Simpsons. I've decided that much of the taste of a lemon meringue pie comes from the tuff that isn't the lemon. You can tell there's a difference if you're paying attention, but it's not that big of a difference. So, yes, the pie is a success. We'll see tonight how the French silk pie turns out.
Brushing my teeth last night, I was overcome with a need to floss. For me, that's an extremely rare event, quite a big deal. So, I looked in the cabinet, and what to me wondering eyes did appear, but some floss left behind by hrafn. So, I was flossing away. I felt like I needed to floss more. I started picking at the back of my teeth with my fingernail. After several attempts, I got some food particles. Not anything that looked like stuff I'd eaten recently. I went back aand foud some more. So I got the flashlight. It looks like I have at least three cavities. I'm not sure, since I've never had a cavity before. And I also noticed that my two back teeth on the upper left side of my mouth kind of slant outwards at a significant angle. So, I guess I'm going to make an appointment with a dentist. At least I have the dental insurance to do it. And getting a cleaning and some fillings won't cost me anything, so that's cool, I guess. I haven't been to the dentist in many, many years. I don't want to go to the dentist. Besides the usual dentist gripes, I have a good gag reflex. I guess most people lose theirs as adults, or at least it lessens significantly, but mine seems to have stuck around. Of course, I never go to the dentist, and I rarely go to the doctor, so it could be mostly gone now, for all I know. At least the dentist I picked is just down the street (it's one of the dentist offices I've hissed at while walking by).
