It's been a while
I haven't had much interaction with the co-worker lately, both of us happily doing our own thing, and the bits of interaction I've had with her haven't been all that bad.

She comes into my cubicle this morning and asks me a question. A question that was answered in an email sent by our supervisor last week. An email that she got. She just didn't bother to read all of the words.

Blah. I guess it isn't a huge sin. Still, it pisses me off when people don't read things.

Like when they just skim stuff?

If that stuff is needed to do one's job, yes. Skimming someone's LiveJournal entries is not any kind of sin. No one has an obligation to read someone else's journal. The co-worker does have an obligation to read work-related email, especially ones with important titles like "update on processes".

Yeah, I love it when people do that. "Oh, this information? You mean the stuff I emailed you already because you already asked about it?" Grr. And they STILL come ask me if there's going to be a freaking senior staff meeting - instead of checking the schedule I emailed them or checking the conference room schedule. The price of knowing too much.

That's 'cause it's just so much easier to make someone else do the work, rather than look through the email or file for themselves... that would take some of their precious time... and of course you wouldn't be in the middle of doing something else. No, never.

Have you been having a lot of interaction with her lately, before this incident? Anyway, sounds annoying, but it's not like it's a huge sin or anything.
