Ah yes, my doughnut adventure. Got up late, so I decided to stop by the RMV on my way to work to drop off the plates for the Saturn. Got there at 8:21, they open at 8:30. So had a couple of doughnuts at the Dunkin' Donuts next door. Went back, waited until 8:38 or so for them to start serving people at the windows. I didn't get a number, since dropping off plates is one of those quick things that you can just do at one of the windows that is solely for dropping off plates and other quick things. Waited a while longer, along with 2 other people. Then the woman says that her computer is down, so we'll have to get a number and wait for the other windows. I got number 12, and they were only helping number 2. I was deciding whether to go or stay, listening in on the woman trying to get help for her computer. When I heard, "It's frozen. You're down. We're all down," I knew it was time to go. I might stop off there today after work, but it's really too cold for a walk down to the Chinatown stop. Besides, I'm taking the Red Line today, so I think I'll just do it tomorrow when I'm going to be taking the Orange Line home. Still going to be cold tomorrow, I'm sure.
That reminds me: i haven't been paying attention to the weather much recently. I don't know why. I think I used to check the weather forecast every couple of days at least, and now I have absolutely no idea what the weather is supposed to be like.
A little more awake now. At least I'm only here for another hour or so. Hmm, I don't know if I'm going to finish even the little bit of work that I thought I could get done today. Well, whatever. I don't think it's time-sensitive stuff, and it's not like I'm going all that slowly.
