Golf and Sushi
Some time last month, we were talking at work about miniature golf, and someone had the idea (possibly me) that we should have a summer party where we go miniature golfing. Since I had successfully organized our December party, I was tasked with bringing this one together. So, last night, we went miniature golfing near work, and then we continued on down Route 9 and had dinner at Oga's.
I hadn't been miniature golfing in quite some time, and it was a lot of fun. I ended up with a 54, which I think was pretty close to the median for the adults (we had three kids golfing, too).
Dinner at Oga's was fabulous as usual. They have monthly specials, so a few of us shared the Buffalo frog appetizer. Yes, "deep fried fresh frog." It was pretty much like chicken wings, only smaller. I think it was my first time trying frog. And we got to sit at these tables that were very low to the ground, in a room where we had to remove our shoes. I was surprised to find, though, that there were pits below the tables for our legs, so we didn't have to kneel or cross our legs.
