This "moving" thing is a lot more work than I thought it would be.
I don't think I'm going to buy a house again until I'm pretty sure I won't be moving any more. Selling a house is really a big pain in the ass.
I had thought my current mobile phone plan (the cheapest one) didn't include national long distance. However, looking at my current bill, I see my calls to my mom (Maryland) and my dad (New York) are charged against my regular minutes and don't have any extra charges associated with them. I guess either I misunderstood (like, maybe my plan charges when I'm out of my local area, but not for calls outside my local area when I'm in my local area) or they upgraded the plan. In any case, I guess the only consideration for whether or not to get a land line is the reception at my place.
