(no subject)

The problem with being in this early is that there's not enough to read on LJ. Don't get me wrong. I'm grateful for what's already up there, but the volume is lacking. Maybe I should add more friends from other time zones.

I can't believe no one wants my crappy monitor or my crappy dishwasher (I posted the dishwasher in Free Stuff on craigslist).

I had dreams about work last night. I don't think I've ever dreamed about work, or at least not my current job. That's what two days of being flooded with proof will do, I guess. If I had to work this hard all of the time, would I dream about work constantly?

Bridge at lunch, and then the movie at the Hatch Shell tonight (assuming I feel like braving the weather). Work should be at a bit more moderate pace since a lot of stuff got approved in the past two days. We shall see.

According to this Globe article, it's not just "packages" (def. 1 from the AHD: "a wrapped or boxed object; a parcel") but any bags larger than 6" x 12" x 4" that will not be allowed on the Orange Line during the convention. The article also says that "all permitted bags will be searched on these trains."

This is certainly not the information that is in the MBTA's DNC brochure. So, either the Globe writer is interpreting this brochure differently than I am, or he has another source of information.

Okay, I just filled out a comment form on the MBTA's Web site, asking them what exactly "packages" means. Watch this space for their reply.

Free Friday Flicks

WBZ's Web site says they can't print the names of the movies due to copyright issues, but they can give "hints". Here are the hints with the movie titles. I haven't seen most of these movies, so I'm looking forward to trying to do this every week.
