I made an RSS feed for the Jotto Puzzle of the Day. I'll update it every day when I add the new puzzle.

I've decided that I'm not going to kill myself trying to get a solution up every day at the same time I get the puzzle up, so, if you're interested in the solution, you'll need to periodically check back, since the RSS feed won't do anything with the solution.

I'm feeling pretty good about my Perl abilities. I think I've got a lot of the basics down, which I'm quite happy with. The program I wrote to create the RSS file for the Jotto Puzzle of the Day was a snap. Yay.

I've got a couple of other projects on the burner, and I feel pretty confident about those, too.

Just spent the last hour and a half trying to figure out printer stuff with our IT people. It was frustrating for a number of reasons. One was that the IT people discovered that one of the people in the cube where a printer is have been turning it off, since it is "too noisy". This apparently does bad things to its setup stuff.

I deserve a Spicy Chicken Fillet.

Yahoo! Mail downloader

Except for some final tweaking of output, I'm pretty much done with a Yahoo! Mail downloader. I made it for someone who is way over the limit on Yahoo! but doesn't want to delete anything.

If anyone else would find this useful (it's in the form of a command-line Perl script right now), let me know. Also, I could probably fairly easily adapt it to other Webmail providers.
