I actually got no mail at the house yesterday. I can't remember the last time that happened.

I finally did some work last night on programming the letter-for-letter dice game thing. It was pretty easy, since I was able to find stuff on PerlMonks that was helpful. The first step is to compare some different 25-dice sets to see how many five- to twelve-letter words there are with a single roll of the dice. I already did it for the set the guy I'm working on this with sent me. I'm doing it now for the set of dice from Boggle Deluxe. Once I get that done, I'll compare the two results and send that off to the guy, which should make him happy since he hasn't heard from me in a couple of weeks.

Speaking of Perl, the local Perl Mongers are having a social meeting on Tuesday. I joined the mailing list a while ago, but I've never been to a meeting. The meetings they've had since I've joined have all been on days that I was busy, but I should be able to make it to this one. I'm thinking about going. We'll see.

There's a picture of a really nice-looking taco in the math book I'm looking at. Yum. I haven't had a taco in quite a while. It doesn't help that I'm pretty hungry right now. I see a Wendy's trip in my future (sorry, bitty).

I should make tacos sometime soon. I really liked when my family made tacos. The whole everyone-gets-to-build-their-own-from-the-ingredients thing was fun. Same thing when we made pizzas on New Year's Eve.

I work with some pretty neat people. While getting my latest short-term assignment, I noticed a book on the person's shelf who was giving me the assignment. Its title is HIV-Negative, and the last name of the author (I could only see the spine) is the same as the person. I also noticed that he has two copies of it. So I went and found his Web site. He is indeed the author of the book. He is also a crossword-puzzle author (I already knew this) and is into a lot of other interesting things.
