This is going to be a long afternoon

So, I finished reviewing the batch I was working on. Now I get to enter all of the errors into the spreadhseet. I just write them down on paper as I go along, since I don't want to be switching back and forth between Netscape and Excel as I'm reviewing. The down side of that is that entering all of these in is a real chore. I'm going to be a zombie when I'm done with it. I hope to get done before I'm scheduled to leave today (3:30). We'll see if that ends up happening or not. If not, I will probably stay longer, as long as it looks like I'm within an hour or so.

Tomorrow I start the same thing, this time for half of Grade 7. Then it's on the Grade 8. I have no idea if we're going to have to see these again. I doubt there's time.

Making strawberry jam tonight, using the calcium-activated pectin. Anyone have any thoughts on how honey would work as a sweetenr for that? I'm also planning on doing Krayzen work tonight. It's been a while since I've done anything, so I hope to at least get one file most of the way done tonight. I sure hope I'm not completely burned out from this spreadsheet stuff at work today. The trip home and the making of the jam should be a good break, though.

Tomorrow it's possibly more Krayzen and then some programming. I haven't touched that letter-for-letter dice game stuff for a while. i've got some ideas of what to do, so now I just need to do it.

And congratulations to empheliath for getting 2nd place in this week's photochallenge competition!

Zombie jam

Got my work done just a little after 3:30. I was a total zombie. The ride home woke me up a bit, though, which was good. I made jam right away when I got home. 4 pints of strawberries, the pectin, and a little less than a cup of sugar. The little bit I tasted from the pot after filling the jars was pretty darned good.

Gonna wash some dishes now while I think about what I want to make myself for dinner. Maybe something with rice and beans. And chicken, maybe. And I've still got those potatoes. Then, properly fed, I will sit down to work on Krayzen stuff.

Life is pretty darned good. (Of course, now that I said that, I just know that something awful is going to happen.)
