Boggle Deluxe

I scored two copies of Boggle Deluxe today. Last night, playing some Boggle, and someone mentioned that a friend had bought her a copy of Boggle Deluxe from a toy store in Brookline. So, I went there after work today, and they had two left (at $15 per!!), so I picked them up. The Landlord and surrealestate each said they wanted one, though, so I'll probaly just end up giving them away. It's not like I don't already have three copies of Big Boggle and one copy of Boggle. Of course, these could probably make some money on eBay, but I think I'd rather give them to friends.

Time to eat some pie, watch "Legally Blonde", and wait for Kit to come home. Tonight is an at home night for the two of us. We've lately been trying to do Thursdays as a sort of date night when we can, since we hadn't been getting much time alone together except in bed sleeping. We've both got work, we've both got roleplaying on Mondays, she sees Cue on Wednesdays and Saturdays, I'm with dway on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and then other things always seem to come up to fill up the rest of the time, too. I really like always having things to go out and do, actually. I guess it might be nice to have more time at home to sit around and veg, but I'm really not missing that time. Well, I guess I do get that time, and that's right now. I usually get into work early (6:23 this morning), so I leave work early and get usually at least a couple of hours at home alone, and that seems to be enough.

Flying

Just got off the phone with my sister. She's flying home for Thanksgiving, leaving tomorrow. Before we got off the phone, she said "By the way, we're flying US Air tomorrow, so . . . just in case anything happens." It's still real.

Dumb movies

I really tend to like movies that most people consider dumb and predictable. Well, I tend to like most movies, and it happens to include movies that people consider dumb and predictable. Take "Legally Blonde", the movie I just saw. I really enjoyed it. No, it's not going to win any awards. Yes, it was sappy and predictable and really manipulated you to like the protagonist. But you know what? I still enjoyed the movie. I felt good when everything turned out okay for her in the end (as I knew it would all along). And I liked that good feeling I got from it. I wish I had another dumb movie to watch right now.
