For completeness, let's put:

brrr

on the triple letter list. I didn't include it when I posted yesterday, since I couldn't find it on dictionary.com. Feeling slightly less lazy today, I checked the Scrabble dictionary, and it's in there.

I saw your doublex4 word and your mention of the Scrabble dictionary here and figured I'd ask you this:

why is AARRGHH accepted and AARRGGHH not?

I have no idea how the Scrabble dictionary decides what to make acceptable.

Maybe - in this case - because it is easy to prounounce all the doubled letters as elongated sounds except for the "G"?

Actually, I do know (having played competitive Scrabble for years), but it still amuses me how AARGH, AARRGH, and AARRGHH are all acceptable words, but AARRGGHH isn't.
