The copyediting class that wasn't
So I skipped copyediting class to go to a poetry reading by Seamus Heaney. It was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the poetry and how he read it. And he's just such a personable guy. The lecture hall it was in was overcrowded, so it was amazingly hot in there. But it was definitely worth it. I want to get a copy of a book of his that has the poem St. Kevin and the Blackbird in it.

Leads to thoughts of writing more poetry, maybe searching out some local poetry open mikes.
