Waited about 40 minutes in line at 7 this morning. I don't know if this is usual, but our polling station is for three precincts. Once we got near the front of the line, they split us up by precinct. I voted for president and on the three ballot questions. E and I were numbers 68 and 69 in the machine for our precinct (there were probably a couple hundred people in line in front of us, for all three precincts together).

I don't drink coffee, and I just yesterday decided to try to start cutting sugar out of my diet as much as possible (don't want to end up diabetic, if it's not too late to avoid it (and no, I don't want artificial sweeteners, either)), so I won't be taking advantage of any of the "I voted" promotions at various businesses today.

Everywhere I've heard about this morning (granted, mostly metro Boston, but also OH and GA) has had unusually long lines. Interesting that there are three precincts all together, though.

Sugar and fake sugar, or all sweeteners? (Maple, agave, honey, molasses...)

Haven't made a decision about other sweeteners. Since dinner last night (and therefore leftovers today) didn't have any of that, I don't have to worry right now.
