[Running, 2.5 miles]
I ended up working until 7:30 last night, so I didn't get in a run. I did, however, get two loads of laundry done, which is very good. I'm going to do some more laundry tonight. I think I'd like to try to get the whole apartment cleaned by the end of this weekend, which is definitely a realistic goal.

I planned my route this morning to go by the CVS, since I need some new batteries for my Wiimotes, but it was closed when I got there. I think it's open 24 hours, so it was kind of weird that it was closed. There were several people, including an employee, standing outside.

I decided to bring my watch with me so I could start getting an idea of how fast I'm likely to run on Saturday. I did this run in 26:07, which is about a 10:27 mile, which would mean a 5K in about 32:32. I think it's not unreasonable to shoot for 30 minutes, especially considering that, a year ago, I ran 3.5 miles in 31:26, which is an 8:59 pace. I'd had around the same amount of preparation then as I will for this race. Wouldn't it be nice to run a race when I've actually been running regularly for a few months? If I can manage to keep doing these runs in the morning before work, I hope to be able to do that at some point.

Speaking of work, time to head off there.

Can't they make wiimotes so they charge themselves, like those watches that power themselves just from being moved around when you're wearing them?

(This is at least the third LJ comment notification that wasn't sent in the past week or two.)

I'm sure they could, but then I imagine they would have to be a bit more expensive. I hope that they at least come out with a version that you can just plug in to charge.
