German
I've signed up to take a German class at CCAE. It's eight Mondays starting June 12th. I'm hoping that it will act as a springboard. Once I take that class, I hope to try to do some reading on my own, as well as practicing at work (two people are fluent (one is native), and at least one other has some German).

It will be nice to be able to at least read menus and street signs when I'm in Vienna in September. Also, we have a number of German authors, and I think knowing German will help me with copyediting English written by native German speakers.

We found that nearly all restaurants will have English menus, and that street signs are really easy.
Not that you shouldn't take German. Just sayin'.
