"Bush urges end to cartoon violence"
The subject line above is a current CNN headline. Of course, it's talking about the violence sparked by the publication in a Danish newspaper of images of Mohammed.

But the first thing I thought was that Bush wanted to get rid of violence in cartoons. Can you just imagine him speaking about this?

"We need to protect our children from cartoon violence. Cartoon violence can turn into real violence. Now, if you and I see an anvil fall on Bugs Bunny, that's funny. But if our children see it, they go out and drop anvils on their friends, like what happened at Columbine."

You forgot to add "September the 11th, 2001 forever changed the way our nation looked at violence."
