Vacation and housewarming
I'm taking the week after Thanksgiving off. I have vacation time, and I want to use it, and that's as good a time as any. Also, there will be some special visitors in town then. That might also be an appropriate time to have a housewarming at my new place. Would people come out to Wellesley on a weeknight? (Huh. I just looked up "weeknight", and it appears to actually mean Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday nights. I think I've always used it to be synonymous with "school night", being Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday night. So, when I say "weeknight", please assume that I mean "school night".) I'm not sure that the special visitors' schedule will allow them to make it on the weekend, but I guess I can check.

I can make it out on a weeknight (your definition or mine). BTW, that's the first I've ever heard of anyone using "weeknight" to include Sunday night and exclude Friday night. But of course people could have used it in communication with me meaning that and I just didn't know.
